At the recent Chemical Industries Committee meeting, members shared diverse perspectives on business assessments for the current year and forecasts for 2024. Dr Bjoern Jackisch, Co-chair of the committee, spoke about updates on decarbonisation efforts taking place on Jurong Island. The project was well received by attendees because of its importance for the chemical industries sector. In addition, the committee demonstrated its commitment to broader societal values. Participants embraced the goal of gender parity within the industry and support for non-discriminatory hiring and working policies. This commitment reflects the committee's dedication to fostering an inclusive and diverse professional environment.
