Last week on August 25th, the SGC Digitalisation & Innovation Committee, helmed by Co-chairs, Dr Markus Waechter and Ms Evelyn Stier, convened a productive meeting at the SGC office with a delegation from Germany. This engaging session revolved around a comprehensive spectrum of topics, with a primary emphasis on the effective integration of digitalisation and innovation within Singapore. The discourse encompassed pivotal subjects such as the deployment of the TraceTogether App, the significance of mask mandates during pandemics, and the intersection of data protection issues, encompassing PDPA and GDPR.
