The German-Singaporean Bilateral Forum on Sustainability and Innovation proved to be a highly interactive and dynamic event, with over 130 participants engaging in thought-provoking presentations and panel sessions on pursuing sustainable practices and innovative solutions. The Forum was organised by the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SGC) in partnership with the German Embassy in Singapore and powered by GSBF Connect. This event aimed to encourage employees and organisations to build a culture of sustainable business processes, and drive sustainability efforts towards the path of the SingaporeGreenPlan2030.

In addition, the SGC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association of Singapore (HFCAS) at the Forum to jointly promote collaborations and industry exchange and development in hydrogen and fuelcelltechnology between Singaporean and German companies. This cooperation will be further enhanced when the SGC organises a hydrogen business delegation from Singapore to Germany in 2024. Dr. Tim Philippi, Executive Director, SGC, concluded the event by acknowledging the Forum as a building bloc to bring companies together, promote exchange of information, and support companies to find new partners.
